RECAP

After an embarrassing loss to the Badgers a few weeks ago, the Iowa defense played much better, holding Wisconsin to 39% from the field and 34% from deep (compared to 65% shooting from the field and 68% from 3-point range). It was also Iowa’s first game since it lost Owen Freeman to a season-ending hand injury.

But the Hawks' offense fell apart at the end of the game. They shot 1 for 10 to end the game, after leading by one point. Iowa has now lost six of its last seven games.

Pryce Sandfort scored 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, and Drew Thelwell scored 11 points, had four rebounds and three assists despite leaving the middle of the game with an injury. Josh Dix added 13 points.
