RECAP

It was a windy day at Iowa Stadium, which limited the scoring. Both teams scored on two long touchdowns. Iowa's Craig Johnson had a 72 yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Indiana had an 80 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to even the score 7-7 in the fourth quarter. Indiana put together a 49 yard drive which ended with a one yard touchdown run to score the winning touchdown. The Hawkeyes had a chance to answer in the fourth, but missed a field goal and dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone.

Iowa started Rob Fick over Frank Sunderman and completed four passes for 36 yards.

Craig Clemons had an electric kickoff return for an apparent touchdown that ultimately got called back to the 50 yard line, as it was determined he had stepped out of bounds. He also had a blocked field goal and two tackles on the day.

Iowa wore all black uniforms for the first time.
