RECAP

The Hawks almost pulled a major upset, but couldn't stop the Lions from scoring twice in the 4th quarter, including the game-winning score with 36 seconds left after converting on a 4th and 2 on the drive.

Harry Kokolus kicked a 44-yard FG to start the scoring. Penn State scored a TD early in the 4th quarter, but the Hawks bounced back when Kyle Skogman hit Brian Rollins with a TD pass with 3 minutes remaining.

It was the largest home crowd in Penn State history with over 58,000 fans crammed into Beaver Stadium.
