Tiffany Gooden scored a season high 27 points to snap Northwestern's 9-game winning streak. She hit five 3-pointers in eight attempts, and was 10 for 20 overall from the field. The Hawks jumped to a 14-9 lead, but the Wildcats went on a 21-10 run to close out the half, leading 30-24. Iowa shot just 24.3% from the field in the first half, while Northwestern hit 50% of its shots. In the second half, however, the Hawkeyes turned the tables in the 2nd half to take over the game, tying the game at 36. Nadine Domond chipped in with 14 points, and Amy Herrig and Tangelo. Smith grabbed 11 and 10 rebounds respectively. The Hawkeyes outrebounded Northwestern by an astounding 55 to 28 margin.
