RECAP

Caitlin Clark led all scorers with a game-high 31 points, putting her eight points away for breaking the NCAA all-time scoring record. She also had 10 assists to become the sixth women’s college basketball player to record 1,000 in a career.

The Hawkeyes led most of the game, but could not score at the end, allowing Nebraska to complete the comeback and pull the upset. Clark scored 17 points in the first half and Hannah Stuelke added nine to go into halftime with a 39-35 lead. The Hawks led by 14 points at the start of the 4th quarter, but could only muster 10 points in the 4th, and gave up 27 points.

Kate Martin added 20 points, and Stuelke ended with 15 points on 7-11 shooting.
