RECAP

A snowstorm hit Iowa, and despite frigid cold, the Iowa fans made it out in force (estimated 13,000) for a primetime TV showdown with Indiana, unbeaten in the conference and tied for 1st with the Hawks. Iowa started slow in the 1st quarter, but still held a 2 point lead. Caitlin Clark started to get hot from 3-point range (after missing her first 6 3-point attempts), and Molly Davis had an offensive outburst with Clark on the bench. Davis ended with 18 points and 2 3-pointers, and Clark finished with 30 points (6 3-pointers) and 11 assists. Kate Martin grabbed 12 rebounds. The defense played well, frustrating the Hoosiers and holding them to only 20 second half points.
