Sterling Dias opened the dual at 101 pounds with a tech. fall in 1:14 against Olivia Klein, 10-0. At 109 pounds, Ava Bayless continued with another 10-0 tech. fall over Madi Mansmann in 1:33. Brianna Gonzalez followed at 116 pounds, recording the first fall for the Hawkeyes against sixth-ranked Emily Klein in just 0:44. At 123, Felicity Taylor defeated second-ranked Mia Macaluso, 10-0, in just 0:47 after tying up a tight leg lace. Emily Frost followed at 130 pounds taking another 10-0 tech. fall for the Hawkeyes against Gianna Amendola in 0:46.

With Iowa leading 21-0, Nanea Estrella kept the wins going at 136 pounds with a 12-2 tech. fall over Zoe Gress, with just 1:25 left in the second period. At 143 pounds, Ella Schmit recorded a 11-0 tech. fall with 0:55 left in the second period over Jayla Hahn. Reese Larramendy came in at 155 pounds to record a 10-0 tech. fall against Paityn DeLong in the first period. At 170 pounds, Haley Ward secures the second fall for the Hawkeyes in 2:23 against Jade Huerta. In the final match, Alivia White finishes strong at 191 pounds with a quick 17-second pin against Ariel Ofri-Akman.
