RECAP

After jumping out to a 6-point halftime lead, the Hawks could not hold off the Terrapins offensive outburst, scoring 47 points in the 2nd quarter, and holding Iowa to 29 points. Leading 54-44 with 12 minutes remaining, Maryland wnet on a 17-6 run to take the lead, and never looked back.

Payton Sandfort led the Hawks with 19 points and five rebounds, while Ben Krikke scored 11 points on an efficient 5-of-8 from the field. Tony Perkins added nine points and eight rebounds.
