RECAP

Tony Perkins hit a game-winning shot with 1.3 seconds left to lift the Hawks in overtime, ending with 18 points in the game. It was their first signature win in the conference.

Owen Freeman scored 20 points, grabbed 12 boards, dishing out six assists, blocking four shots and recording two steals. Payton Sandfort also had 18 points, and Josh Dix scored 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting.

After giving up 47 points in the first half, the Iowa defense held Wisconsin to just 37% from the field and 20% from 3-point range. They took a 9-point lead, but gave up a 9-0 run, and the game was close the rest of the 2nd half. The Hawks kept the Badgers' Tyler Wahl in foul trouble most of the game, and jumped out to a quick start in the 2nd half to take a lead.
