RECAP

The game was originally scheduled for Jan 18th, but was rescheduled when Northwestern did not have enough players due to COVID. The team celebrated the 30th anniversary of the death of Chris Street. The Wildcats have been a surprise success this year, in 2nd place coming into the game, so the victory was important for keeping NCAA tournament hopes alive. The Hawks leveraged strong shooting to overcome the Wildcats' tough defense.

Filip Rebraca and Payton Sandfort both scored 20 points to lead the team. Sandfort was red-hot from 3-point range going 5-for-7, including another 4-point play.
