RECAP

The Hawkeyes trailed for most of the first half but went into halftime tied, 27-27. Connor McCaffery hit two 3's to keep Iowa close. The Badgers led by 8 points with 2:13 left in regulation, but Iowa scored the final 8 points to force overtime. Tony Perkins scored, then forced a steal and got an assist to Patrick McCaffery who nailed the 3-pointer with 15 seconds left. He also tried to tie the game at the end of the first overtime with a 3-pointer, but missed.

Patrick McCaffery was the game’s leading scorer with 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Tony Perkins scored 17 points along with six rebounds, and Filip Rebraca added 10 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
