RECAP

The #5 seed Hawks were upset by the #12 seed Richmond. The Hawks struggled to shoot, going 6-29 from 3-point range. They also seemed tentative on offensive, being slowed down b the Spiders defense. Keegan Murray was held to 21 points, and struggled until late in the game. Patrick McCaffery scored 18 points. Iowa trailed most of the 2nd half, but had some chances to pull out a win late. Clutch plays and free throw shooting by the Spiders sealed the upset loss. The Hawks will have to wait longer to get back to the Sweet Sixteen, something it hasn't done since 1999. Jordan Bohannon fell just short of the Power 5 record for 3-pointers made.
