Wisconsin took a 3 point lead with 2 minutes to go. Bohannon hit two free throws to put Iowa up 70-69 with one minute remaining, and was fouled on a 3 point attempt, making all 3 to put Iowa up 74-71 with 34 seconds remaining.

Garza scored 21 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and Bohannon added 16 points and 8 assists, including 3 threes. Keegan Murray added 13 points and three blocks off the bench, and had a critical 3-point play late in the game.

After the game, Gary Barta took to the court to announce that Garza's No. 55 will be retired when the season is over.
