On Thanksgiving Day in Omaha, 2000 people watched Iowa shutout Nebraska in its first game outside of Iowa. The Hawkeyes used the wedge play in its rushing attack to take a 14-0 lead into halftime. Burt German scored the first TD and William Larrabee scored the 2nd TD, and German added two more scores in the 2nd half to end with 3 TDs on the day.

The game was played at a ball park, and the game almost wasn't played, as there were no uprights, no policeman, and no way to keep the crowd off the field. But a few people got things in order before the game started.
