RECAP

The last time the two teams played at Chicago Stadium, the Hawks pulled a huge upset over the #1 Bruins, but that would not be the case this game. UCLA played without Bill Walton, who sat out the game with a back injury. But they had no trouble with the Hawks, winning by 22 points, and extending their winning streak to 88 straight games. Candy LaPrince led the Hawks with 18 points, but no other Hawks reached double-figures. Iowa forced 10 turnovers in the first half, but were outrebounded 30-13.
