RECAP

The Hawks trailed 78-64 with less than five minutes left. They started applying full court pressure to slow down the Wolfpack offense and create turnovers. Kevin Gamble drove to the basket for a layup late in regulation, and the Hawks were tied 80-80. B.J. Armstrong hit two clutch free throws with 1 second left to send the game in overtime, tied 84-84. Brad Lohaus hit the game-winning free throw with 2 seconds left, and the NC State 3-point attempt just missed at the buzzer.
