Penn State defeated Iowa for the second time this season, 67-64, in the NIT quarterfinals. With 10 seconds remaining, Iowa's Jess Settles made good on a pair of free throws to tie the game at 64. Just four and a half minutes earlier, the Hawkeyes had trailed 61-47. Penn State freshman Pete Lilicky nailed a 25-footer with two seconds remaining for the win.
