Carl Jackson

He began his collegiate coaching career with Hayden Fry at North Texas is 1976, and moved to Iowa with Fry from 1979-91 as running backs coach. He took over as offensive coordinator from 1989-1991. From 1992-96, he coached running backs for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL (where he was part of a Super Bowl championship). He returned to college coaching as running backs coach at Texas in 1997 and rejoined the staff at Iowa from 1999-2007 with Kirk Ferentz.
