Maury Kent  

He grew up in Marshalltown, and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1908. He coached the basketball team from 1913 to 1918, and ended with a record of 42-36 (54%). He was also an assistant football coach in 1915 and later in 1944.

Born 9/17/1885 and died on 4/19/1966 at the age of 80.
