RECAP

Iowa struggled against UConn's tough defense, holding Caitlin Clark to 6 points and 0-7 on threes. The Hawks started to get the Huskies into foul trouble, and tied up the game at 51 at the end of the third quarter. Iowa started to pull away early in the 4th, leading by 9 points, but UConn held strong to make it close. A key blocking foul against Gabbie Marshall, and a critical rebound by Sydney Affolter on a missed free throw sealed the victory. It was the first victory over UConn since 1990 after 6 consecutive losses.
