Iowa came out on a 9-0 run to start the game with a 30-18 lead after the first, and went into halftime with a 50-34 advantage. They played even the rest of the 2nd half to earn the victory.

Caitlin Clark scored 24 points, collected 15 rebounds and 10 assists, while Hannah Stuelke added 20 points and nine rebounds to lead the Hawks to victory. Molly Davis shot 50% from three to score 17 points, and Kate Martin added 13 points, six rebounds, four rebounds, and two steals.
