RECAP

Northwestern had not won a Big Ten game, but nearly upset the Hawks. With a 9 point lead at half, and a 66-58 lead in the second half, the Hawks went on a 11-2 run to take the lead. With 5 seconds left, the Wildcats cut the Iowa lead to 77-76 with a 3-pointer, but called timeout without any remaining, leading to two technical foul free throws and retained the ball.
