RECAP

The Spartans took a 65-64 lead and had the ball with under a minute to play. Acie Earl put Iowa back in the lead 66-65 and was fouled on the play. He missed the free throw, but Jay Webb grabbed the rebound. Earl was fouled and stepped to the line with :36 seconds left to sink two clutch free throws to give Iowa a 68-65 lead. He finished with 24 points. Troy Skinner had a critical 3-pointer late in the game, and sank 3 of 4 free throws to close out the game.
