RECAP

The #1 seed Hawkeyes defeated #5 seed Colorado to advance to the Elite Eight, where they will rematch LSU, who they lost to in last year's NCAA Championship game. The Hawks used a balanced offensive attack to steadily pull away from the Buffaloes. All five starters finished in double figures, led by Caitlin Clark with 29 points, 15 assists and six rebounds, including 3 threes. Sydney Affolter added 15 points, and Hannah Stuelke scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. The 21-point win is the largest margin of victory in a Sweet Sixteen game in program history. It is the Hawks' sixth Elite 8 in program history.
